Just got my check from a fish 2 weeks ago. Net to boat was $7.85/lb after over 4bucks in bullshit fees. Just tell me I got 8 bucks not 12 and I'd feel better, right?

Yes Im over it. Big fish dressed over 600 so the fees were $2500. Hes quick to pay and the net to boat was pretty good.

I doubt he's lying about it - the market reports come out daily and there was a fish a few weeks ago that sold for 19,000yen/kg and 2 others over the last few weeks that fetched at or above that same price. There were also a ton of 4,000yen fish and unsold fish that who knows what they brought at the secondary auction.

Hes also not a guy who needs to lie about this. Kevin is one of the more humble fishermen down there and has quietly built a successful charter and tuna fishing business. Even after getting railroaded by WT and Tyler.

Well sarg, i guess i don't understand why you would expect someone you don't know to have to answer to that request. If it were a joke than an emoji like would have changed the whole context of your post. When you make requests like that at least you should know who your making them to. The thing is that this guy may well be a Veteran, First responder or someone else who should be respected. My point is if you do in fact feel the need to ask someone that question at least Private message him.Don't jump on a board with two posts and make such a statement and demand respect.That's just my opinion and it;s worth just what you paid for it.

Not a typo, there have been a few fish this year from US and CAN that have fetched between 13,000 Yen/KG and 22,000 Yen/KG. Haven't seen any recently, but there have been a few. Diamond fish, right day at the auction, right buyer, right boat
