General Marine 26 Outboard Progress

I know there was a build thread from GeneralMarineUpdates but haven’t seen any posts here or on Facebook/instagram in 6 months or so now.

Anyone know how the cabin model 26 outboard is coming along? Would love to see some pics.

I was up there a few months ago and they were just about to put the top on the hull. That one I believe was having the engine mounted on the transom and not on their inter graded bracket. Looked like a really nice setup.

If you are local or not too far away take a swing by. Stacey is awesome and will take you for a tour and talk to you for hours. Can also call and he will talk to you

Ha! I just searched that other post and now after getting a commercial/charter slip, wishing I had my old GM26 back, however more interested in the outboard version than ever, but of course could only afford if I did a kit type thing which I know he is against to keep the brand, which I get... Sure brackets always seemed to be great and I get their intent but having them close in, has some advantages too in my mind...
